This Privacy Policy explains how iMediq ("we", "the service", "the app") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using iMediq through our Telegram bot, iOS application, or web Mini App, you agree to the practices described below.

4. How we store and protect your data

All personally identifying and medical fields (names, profile attributes, lab results, medications, prescriptions, family member names) are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption. Data is transmitted over TLS 1.2+ only. Backups are encrypted and access-controlled.

We store data on MongoDB Atlas (United States / European Union regions) and on our application servers hosted with Hetzner (Germany).

We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete individual items (analyses, prescriptions, medications, family members) at any time from the app, and you can erase your entire account with one action in Profile → Delete data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and California have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA respectively, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to safeguard such transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
